Because we're an office of five women, the topic of wellness constantly comes up: what it means, how we practice it and why.
For us wellness correlates to self care - to practice the habits and routines that lead us to the best version of ourselves and makes us feel good, confident and happy.
In hyper-active social world, we get a lot of messages directing us to do this or that to feel good, but at By Lilla we believe the road to wellness is a personal journey.

"To practice wellness I have daily routines and yearly routines that I love to do. Everyday, I start the day by having my coffee and taking care of my plants. I love keeping them healthy and surround myself with their fresh air in my home and office space. At night, I use essential oils around my house and in my kids rooms to set a peaceful and relaxing environment for bed time. I also love crystals and using them to bring good and positive energy to my home. Then once a year, I go on a yoga retreat to take care of myself - body and soul. This past year I went to Anahata Eco Yoga Retreats and absolutely loved it!"

"Fitness and nutrition make me feel energized healthy and overall amazing. I love waking up for a good, intense workout 5-6 times a week & eat clean with home-cooked meals during the week. On the weekends, I love sharing a glass (or two!) of wine with my husband to relax and unwind from craziness of the week. I also believe in me-time, so once a week I have a mani/pedi where I turn my phone off and just relax!"

"To feel my best, I love having a peaceful and purposeful morning/night routine. During both times, I like to focus my energy on gratitude to set the tone for the day or night. In the morning, I try to make time to spend quiet time with myself, my baby, husband, coffee and a workout (doesn't always happen!) before the mayhem of the day. At night, I love a clean skin care routine to go to bed refreshed and nourished."

"For me, practicing wellness is a very important part of my daily routine because it helps me stay balanced and relaxed. I like walking up early and going to the gym while listening to music at the highest volume possible! I also like practicing breathing exercises now and then to connect with myself!"
I V E T T
"I like to practice wellness by going for jogs/walks while listening to a good book or podcast. Focusing on the story that's being told helps me really disconnect and lose track of time. I usually listen to anything that can make me laugh, it puts me in a good mood. I also enjoy a good mani/pedi at least once a month to pamper myself. It's a gift from me to me!"
